Yarrow is native to Europe and widespread in temperate countries such as Australia. It is an aromatic herb.
Yarrow is one of the best diaphoretic herbs and is used to treat fevers. Research suggests that Yarrow may be useful in normalising blood circulation and pressure. It is also useful as a urinary antiseptic.
Directions: Combine 1 – 2g of the dried herb with a cup of boiling water and infuse for 10-15 minutes
Cautions: Yarrow herb should not be taken by patients taking anticoagulant drugs.
