Meadowsweet, a prolific European wildflower, was one of three herbs held most sacred by ancient Celtic Druids. Frank Roberts, the renowned English Herbalist, refers to Meadowsweet as 'the normaliser of a badly functioning stomach' particularly when associated with gastric secretions.
