Melrose Kiwi Vinegar
Melrose Kiwi Vinegar is made by pressing the whole kiwifruit and uses the coarsely filtered and un-pasteurised juices. These juices are left to turn into cider and then further fermented converting into vinegar. Melrose Kiwi vinegar contains the living mother and has ginger or cinnamon added.
The “mother” is the cloudy looking sediment which lies on the bottom of the bottle, it can over time start looking like a long string – this is the protein chain. You can often see floating bits in the bottle. Don’t be alarmed as this is what you want to see because these bits are the wonderful enzymes and minerals which our bodies feed off once consumed.
