The delightfully light citrus aroma comes from the cold pressing of the Bergamot fruit peel. Similar to a lemon in appearance, this sour fruit generates a lightly refreshing and cleansing aroma. Bergamot is extremely uplifting, and beneficial during times of stress.

The gentle uplifting aroma of Bergamot essential oil is most commonly used for treating states of stress and anxiety. To fully benefit from the powerful 'emotional mending' action, a blend with Lavender or Neroli is recommended.

Botanical Name: Citrus aurantiumsspbergamia

Part of Plant Used: Fruit Rind

Contra-Indications: Bergamot essential oil is photosensitive (it reacts to UV light from the sun or from lights in tanning beds) and can cause skin pigmentation (discolouring).Therefore it should not be applied to any skin area that will be exposed to sunlight within the next 48 hours. This contra-indication only applies to massage and does not apply if the essential oil is used in a vaporiser.

Warnings: Always read the label before use. Keep out of reach of children
