The CLUNGENE COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test is a type of test called an antigen test. When you have COVID-19, the SARS-CoV-2 virus (the virus that causes COVID-19) can be present in your nasal secretions. The CLUNGENE COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test can detect small parts of SARS-CoV-2 virus in your nasal secretions. These small parts of the SARS-CoV-2 virus are known as proteins or antigens.

The test is negative, what do I do next?
Negative test results do not exclude infection with COVID-19 (so face masks, social distancing and good hygiene practice must be maintained). In case of suspicion, repeat the test after 1-3 days or have a PCR test, as the coronavirus cannot be accurately detected in all phases of infection.
I’ve tested positive, now what?
If one coloured line appears at the control region (C), and another appears at the test region (T), it indicates that you are likely to carry the COVID-19 disease. Make sure you look closely at the test region (T) as the intensity of the line can be very faint. Contact your State or Territory COVID hotline for further advice.
