Emu Oil has been used by Australian Aboriginals for thousands of years for its anti-inflammatory and rejuvenating powers. As a natural anti-inflammatory, Emu Spirit Oil of Emu comes from the layer of fat that exists between the muscle groups and skin of both male and female Emu’s. This raw product is then rendered to become Emu oil.

Emu Spirit Emu oil, which we market as Oil of Emu, is the result of 15 years of research into all aspects of Emu Oil production. In 2002, we were the first to successfully list Emu Oil on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) as an active ingredient for the treatment of a range of inflammatory conditions. As part of the process to have Emu Oil added to the ATG as an active ingredient, Emu Spirit had to commission full Oral Toxic Testing (PharmatoxT2334) on Emu Oil. This was the first time that such testing had been carried out and Emu Oil anywhere in the world.

Note: Oil of Emu is suitable, gentle and soothing to use on babies and children, just apply to the affected areas of the skin.
