Rosemary essential oil has become known as the students friend due to its ability to aid concentration, keeping the mind alert and focused. Rosemary is also well known for its anti-bacterial action.

Many people swear that Rosemary essential oil helps hair grow, which is probably due to its action(on the scalp) as a circulatory stimulant.

There are different chemotypes (same species - different constituents in the essential oil) of Rosemary. While they are all useful, the ‘cineole’chemotype is the best essential oil to use.

Botanical Name: Rosmarinus officinalis

Part of Plant Used: Leaves & Flowering Tops
